Winter wonderland

It's getting harder and harder for me to have my outfits photographed outside as it got really cold and snowy in here recently (I've never experienced such cold weather in Scotland before! ), but sometimes you've got to sacrifice yourself for the sake of lovelier photos, so I managed to convince my bf to take a few photos in the snow just outside my house. I admit it was probably one of the quickest photo sessions ever as it lasted about 2 or 3 minutes, but I'm quite happy with the result as the snow makes the pictures look nicer.
I was recently really obsessed with lantern shaped skirts and I was looking for one for quite a while. I've found it during the Boxing Day sales in Primark and I couldn't be happier with it as it's got the perfect shape and lovely colour. Hope you like it too!

Lastly, I'D LIKE TO WISH YOU ALL, MY DEAR READERS, HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010! ♥

Birthday Bunny & Placebo gig

Last Friday on the 11th of December was my birthday. The day was really lovely and I got the most beautiful presents possible, namely candy floss maker and a ticket for PLACEBO concert! ♥ The latter took place on Monday evening and this is be what this post will be about. .
I left for Glasgow where the concert was taking place at around noon and got at SECC venue just before 3pm, only to find out that there is quite a big queue standing there already, but in spite of that I've managed to make it to the first row almost in front of Brian Molko's (Placebo's leader) microphone:D Placebo's support bands included Silversun Pickups and The Horrors which were really great, but I was a bit disappointed by audience's reaction to them as they were mostly just standing there not moving even a bit, which was weird. Anyway, as soon as Placebo started playing the crowd's gone wild (at least around me,haha) and it was really fun. They played brilliantly, I loved the song set-list and the visualizations that were screened at the back of the stage. All in all it was one of the best days in my life! ♥ Too bad I'll have to wait for another concert for so long:(
Oh, and Brian sang and looked gorgeous as always ♥ Loooove him:D

Plaid

I've had a really lovely day today as it is Santa's Day in Poland on the 6th of December, although I don't live there anymore I celebrate it every year. On this day you basically receive little presents that you find in the morning either under your pillow or in your shoe;) It's such a sweet holiday and you can really feel the magic of Christmas coming♥ Yesterday I've already put the christmas lights on, as well as a christmas tree, so I can count the days till Christmas time now and put myself in the mood for them;) The photos were also taken today and I really adore the light on them, especially on the first two.
Happy Santa's day♥

Don't leave me here to pass through time without a map or road sign
Don't leave me here, my guiding light

It's getting harder and harder for me to get outside and take photos of the outfits.;) I feel so so cold when I go out, I wish it could be spring soon! Unfortunately it's not even winter...all I feel like doing recently is staying in with a cup of cinnamon and apple tea or hot chocolate, not that I don't like it, but I can't spend all winter at home;)
Outfit-wise ... Using vivid colours in my autumn/winter outfits is not what I usually do, but weirdly I felt like wearing something that's not black, navy, white or grey. Hope you enjoy it and thanks for your visits and comments!♥

17 days till ♥Placebo♥ concert in Glasgow! Yay! I so can't wait!

In cold light of morning while, everyone is yawning, You're high,
In the cold light of morning the party gets boring, you're high.

I know that it's just another time that my photos were taken at home and it's not the most attractive background, but the weather didn't really make it easy for me to get out and take the pics outside as it was raining quite a lot. Hopefully, you'll be able to see me in some nice location in the next entry;)

Today I'd like to present a gorgeous dress I've recently found in a vintage store called RARA and The Pretty Vacant Showrooms. The place was so enchanting! I really loved the inside look of this little shop and the atmosphere created by the place, the vintage clothes and the music. As soon as I've laid my eyes on this beautiful 'prom dress' I knew I've got to have it♥ The bodice and the dots on the chiffony bottom are made of velour/velvet which is such a nice touch and such a big fabricl this season! Also it's asymmetrical and that big bow on one shoulder looks so sweet♥

A heart that hurts is a heart that works

Lace is one of the main and my favourite trends for autumn/winter 09/10 and I find myself buying more and more items incorporating this theme. I think it is going to stay with me for longer than just this season as I find it really girly and cute. Having said that it's no surprise that I've totally fell in love with this dress when I saw it♥ and I've found it in most unexpected place which is a shop called Quiz (it's probably only my British readers who will know what shop I'm taking about;))!
I've recently been featured in a Glossy Magazine (you can see it online HERE) thanks to lovely Jasna who's chosen and interviewed me and I'm so excited about it! You can see the feature HERE as well. Thanks darling! ♥

Also, I've been taking part in a trendsetting event lately, it took place on a Polish fashion community site called Stylio and I've been chosen as one of 40 people who got sent a t shirt around which we were supposed to build 10 outfits. Here are mine:

Oh! I've almost forgot! Here are a couple of shots I took almost a week ago on Guy Fawkes day...I love fireworks, especially the one accompanied by music♥

Post-Halloween + Revlon False Eyelashes

Today's outfit is one of the most simple and casual ones I've ever put on my blog, but I really like it. I wanted to spice it up a bit with that big red bow headband and I think I've achieved the effect I was going for. It was my shopping outfit so it had to be comfy, hence the flats I'm wearing. Hope you like it! :)

And now it's time for the false eyelashes review, as I've been trying a couple of styles out recently.
When a few weeks ago I got to know that Revlon is releasing their self-adhesive false eyelashes, I knew it's really an ideal option for me.
I got sent a couple of styles and I must admit I really loved them! I've already tried a couple, most of which were the self adhesive type ones, and I'm so happy with them. They really defined the shape of my eye and opened it a bit more, also I really loved the big lashes effect it gives. As for the self adhesive tapes I was afraid that the lashes would fall off, but they did perfect! Even after the Halloween party I've been to, they were intact. Therefore, I'd really like to recommend them to you. If you're not into the 'glue on lashes', you should definitely go for the self adhesive ones, but if you don't mind it, there are also so many great styles to choose from from the glue on range.

Autumn leaves + Mikimoto pearls

A couple of days ago I've found a pair of shoes from my must have list - brown oxfords and of course they've become my favourite pair! I feel like I could wear them with everything, but the first outfit that popped in my head was today's one. White tights and delicate floral dress in composition with those oxfords is kind of a classic, kind of vintage look for me and I'll surely wear it a couple of times this autumn.

.♥.
Also, recently one of my biggest craves are real pearls. I think they're the essence of an elegant lady and I guess they can 'make' almost every outfit. They add that special something to the outfit that will make it stand out from the crowd. Hopefully some time in the future I'll be able to afford that luxury, but for now I've been browsing through websites offering the best selections of pearls. One of those that left me in awe the most were mikimoto pearls , which not only are stunning, but they've also been used in Sex and the City movie! It's always so exciting having the clothes or accessories shown in your favourite shows are movies (which SATC is for me), so I might be considering them when coming round to finally having an indulgence moment;)

Super Furry Animals

Recently I am very into all of those furry vests and jackets, so when I've seen the one I'm wearing in today's outfit I knew I had to have it. It's so soft and warm that I can't get enough of it and wear it very often. I'm also currently looking for a full length one in kind of beige colours and hopefully by obsession with furry clothes will be fulfilled;D

Also, I'd like to thank all of you who voted for me on La Mimi's blog♥ I was short of three votes to the first place won by Delmy from FashionBananas, but Mimi was so kind and offered gift bags and winning places to us both! Thanks so much Mimi and congrats Delmy!♥

Today I'd like to introduce you to a little online shop called The Sunshine Avenue run by lovely Lizzy♥ I have totally fallen in love with almost all of the items in the store! You can even find vintage clothes there which I adore. Lizzy was so kind that she let me choose one of the items from her store I loved the most and she sent it over to me! Thanks so so much dear!

I've finally sorted out my computer problems more or less and it was the screen that got broken in my laptop. Thank you so much for your patience and support darlings!♥
Also I can show you how my Modcloth namesake dress looks on me at last! I totally love it and I think I'm going to wear a black biker jacket with it when it's get colder. As it was quite warm today I was able to take a few photos without a jacket or cardi on.
You can buy your own HoneyBunny in Wonderland dress here (it's been restocked) :)

Oh and now it's official (500) Days of Summer has become one of my favourite movies♥ It's so perfect...the music, the clothes, the main characters and the way it's filmed are just amazing! I'm so waiting for it to come out on a dvd;)
