The way you're moving
Makes me start to sigh
Makes you all that I desire

The recent absence of my photographer, namely my friend Basia, means that I still haven't got any nice photos taken outside. Again it's only me and the timer in the camera;D
I really love the nude colour palette recently, every time I'm shopping all of the clothes in this colour draw my attention and I love most of them. That is why I had to have this beautiful ruffled top that I found on the sale rack in Dorothy Perkins. I have a feeling my collection of all things nude will be getting bigger and bigger, I'm even crazy about nude coloured shoes, whereas before my obsession came I wouldn't even think of shoes that colour:D
The skirt is actually a longer tube top, I've used it because I thought that it looked better than a pencil skirt and modeled the silhouette better, which was essential because I had to tuck quite a lot of ruffles in from the rest of the top and it was closer to the body on all its length.

Days before you came
Freezing cold and empty

It seems that with every photoshoot the place for it gets nearer and nearer to Basia's or my flat! Two posts ago it was her flat's garden area, and this time it's her staircase:D I wanted to play with the light a little bit, and that big window seemed perfect for this:) Additionally, the greenness of the walls and outside area somehow added that lovely green hue to all of the photos. I think these really turned out great, and I might plan some more photshoots for that space in the future;)
And about the outfit, I love the back of that top! I think these kind of tops will be my favourite this summer, I've also bought one in black;) Also, I've seen similar ones in H&M recently and I might get those too ;)

On another note, I’ve watched August Rush for the first time a couple of days ago, and I so loved it! It's so beautiful and touching, I think I’ve been crying for like half of the movie;)) Apart from the plot, I’m really impressed by Jonathan Rhys Meyers’ singing! I’ve first seen him in a kind of singing role in Velvet Goldmine ( which I also love and recommend! ) and I couldn't believe it when I got to know that it’s the actors that are singing;D SO if you haven’t seen these films and you have a should do it! They’re definitely worth it:)

Breathe me
Everytime you close your eyes
Taste me
Every time you cry

The inspiration for this outfit came when I went to see Sex and the City the movie, when it had its premiere back in 2008. When I've seen Carrie, my fashion idol:D, wearing over the knee high socks with argyle patter on it (you can see them here), I knew one thing: I've got to have them! I didn't want to copy her whole outfit, therefore the only thing for me to achieve was to make them work somehow else. After a couple of trial outfits, it turned out that they're not so easy to juxtapose;D So instead of setting them with some sophisticated and complicated outfit, I've tried an easy option... Hope you like it! I've totally fell in love with these socks and its colours.... my favourite colours to use in my outfits. Who would've thought I would find them in Primark?! :D The dress is also from there and it was only 3 pounds on sale! I love its button, embroidery and peter pan collar details, which I guess you can't see because it's all black;)))

So you come undone

The photoshoot for this entry was probably the quickest ever in history;)) I'm not sure whether it was even 15 minutes, but I guess the photographs turned out well, and the beautiful weather only helped to achieve the effect. The building behind me is Morgan Academy, which is a school at the moment, and used to be a hospital a long time ago. The outfit is basically everything I love and mostly wear, which includes a bow, a little black and white dress and over the knee high socks.

Recent days were quite exciting musically for me, because of the fact that Placebo, my favourite band who are releasing their new album on June 8, gave their fans the new album preview and I could listen to it like 5 times! ;D I really enjoyed it, and I'm not disappointed at all, actually I loved it, especially the last two tracks: Come Undone and Kings Of Medicine. Can't wait for it to be released, so that I'll be able to listen to it days and nights! :D

Also today I've bought my latest dream shoes! They're just as I've imagined them, and I've found them in a shop that I'd never think I would: Quiz ;D I guess the name will ring a bell only to my UK readers...but believe me that store sells nothing like that!
My perfect studded gladiators ;D
